Catering to exclusive clientele, the Genevieve Orsini showroom displays only a select few designer treasures. In order to make the unique pieces of jewellery the stars of the show, the design makes use of simple, straight lines to let the handful of glass display units stand out. Set into a backlit steel panel against a wall, the units add a touch of drama to space.
The ceiling, painted in gold, provides the element of glamour, as do the vitrified tiles punctuated with squares of Opus Romano. A mixture of concealed and spot lighting provide high illumination for precise viewing of the jewellery. Replacing conventional display units and long countertops with intimate seating arrangements guarantee an intimate shopping experience that’s less like going to a crowded bazaar and more akin to having a private tête-à-tête.
